This action is permanent. Deleting your account immediately erases all your family data — locally and from our servers. There is no recovery option after deletion is confirmed.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, email, phone number, photo, and biography
  • Your entire family tree — all contacts and relationship connections
  • All memories — photos, notes, dates, and locations
  • Group memberships — you will be removed from all shared family groups
  • Your account credentials and session tokens
  • Push notification tokens and all notification preferences

Groups you created will remain for other members. Any memories you shared to a group before deletion will be removed from the group as well.

How to delete your account

Account deletion is done directly in the TreeLinker app. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the TreeLinker app on your Android device.
  2. Tap your profile photo or the menu icon to open Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
  4. Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
  5. Read the confirmation message, then tap Permanently Delete My Account.
Deletion begins immediately. Your local data is erased first. Your remote data (if cloud sync was enabled) is fully removed within minutes.

Delete via this page

If you no longer have access to the app, you can delete your account here using your email and password.

This is the last step. Once confirmed, nothing can be recovered.
